ULI Los Angeles : About ULI LA


The mission of the Urban Land Institute is to provide responsible leadership in the use of land in order to enhance the total environment. ULI Los Angeles, a district council of the Urban Land Institute, carries forth that mission as the preeminent real estate forum in Southern California, facilitating the open exchange of ideas, information and experiences among local, national and international industry leaders and policy makers.
Members of the Urban Land Institute in the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara are automatically members of ULI Los Angeles.
Established in 1986, ULI Los Angeles has a membership of over 1,700, representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines. They include developers, builders, property owners, investors, financial institutions, architects, public officials, planners, brokers, appraisers, attorneys, accountants, engineers, academics and students.
ULI Los Angeles provides varied perspectives and approaches that can be applied locally to improve the quality of decisions relating to real estate and land use. It sponsors educational programs and forums to encourage a broad exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences.
