The Dynamics of Real Estate Capital Markets: The Past, Present, and Future of Real Estate Financing with Buzz McCoy
Bowen 'Buzz' McCoy Stay a step ahead of market cycles by understanding what has happened in the past. Join us as Bowen "Buzz" McCoy shares his experiences and industry insight from his new book, The Dynamics of Real Estate Capital Markets: A Practitioner's Perspective. Spanning four decades, from the 1970s through 2006, this collection of Mr. McCoy's essays chronicles the dynamic changes in real estate financing from the viewpoint of a practitioner and industry leader who was making real estate deals throughout the period. Topics include real estate as an asset class, securitization issues, valuation methods, globalization, restructuring, the impact of 9/11, real estate as a maturing asset class, the role of pension funds, transparency issues, planned growth, and arbitrage between public, private market pricing and business ethics.

As one of the first industry leaders to emphasize ethics in real estate and to bring women on his team, Buzz McCoy is a true pioneer. National Real Estate Investor magazine has named him one of the "real estate icons" of the 20th Century for his ground-breaking work linking real estate financing to capital markets.

A panel of leading experts will respond to Mr. McCoy's findings and offer their own perspective on these topics.

Everyone that registers for the event will receive Buzz McCoy's book.
