YLG Public Service Volunteer Event: The Friends of the Los Angeles River's (FOLAR) 18th Annual Great Los Angeles River Clean-UpFollowing on the tremendous success of the Young Leaders Group's first public service event, the repainting of Chrysalis' downtown headquarters, YLG will participate in FOLAR's 18th Annual Great Los Angeles River Clean-up! Come out and get your hands dirty with fellow YLGers and other members of the Los Angeles community as we take part in this celebration of the Los Angeles River, a 52-mile waterway that extends from Canoga Park to Long Beach. This event is a great opportunity to meet other YLG members, help beautify a site along the River and learn more about this important civic asset, which has become a focal point for the City with the recent release of the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan.

Don't forget the hat and sunscreen!

T-shirts, lunch and refreshments will be provided to all participants.
