Young Leaders Paint Chrysalis Offices on Skid Row
January 10, 2007
On November 18-19, over twenty Young Leaders, and several members of the Los Angeles District Council, painted the Skid Row offices of Chrysalis, a non-profit organization that helps homeless individuals improve their lives through job opportunities. Through their own fundraising and the support of the District Council, the Young Leaders were able to purchase all necessary supplies and equipment, eliminating any out-of-pocket costs for Chrysalis. Sponsors included Joseph Shabani with Infinity Redevelopment, David Cohen with law firm LSY&R, Nam Joe with John Laing Homes, and Rob Butchenhart with Lehman Brothers. Chrysalis’ offices are now bright and inviting, and their clients are thrilled by the updated and hopeful look of the space.
