Richard K. Green, Ph.D, noted author of publications on housing markets, transportation, mortgage finance and urban growth, will discuss how the federal funding program will work for Los Angeles and what opportunities may exist for cities throughout the county. What are the priorities for the stimulus programs? Is ‘shovel ready' still the focus of the Obama Administration? Talk of Stimulus II? Join in the discussion with Dr. Green as ULI LA explores what the federal stimulus package will mean for Los Angeles.

Dr. Green holds the USC Lusk Chair in Real Estate and is Professor in the School of Policy, Planning, and Development and the Marshall School of Business. His research addresses housing markets, housing policy, tax policy, transportation, mortgage finance and urban growth. He is a member of two academic journal editorial boards, and a reviewer for several others. The National Association of Realtors, the Ford Foundation, and the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy have funded grants to support some of Dr. Green's research.
