Community Service Event: Tree Planting
October 13, 2007
Meet at Emerson Middle School Parking lot 1650 Selby Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90024
The Young Leaders Group will be partnering with the Los Angeles Conservation Corps on October 13, 2007 to participate in a tree planting on the Westside!
Following on the tremendous successes of our past volunteer projects with the repainting of Chrysalis' downtown headquarters and the FOLAR's 18th Annual Great Los Angeles River Clean-up, come out, help the environment and get your hands dirty with fellow YLGers and other members of ULI Los Angeles as we take part in this tree planting project.
Bruce Saito, the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Conservation Corp, will be our speaker.
Make sure to bring gloves, protective eyewear and wear sunscreen!
LA Conservation Corp will be giving away hats!
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided to all participants.
