The focus of this workshop will be on commercial real estate finance presented by John Chun, Investment Director at Hanover Financial Company. Hanover Financial Company is a joint venture capital source for real estate investors and developers, providing creative financial solutions in the development, acquisition, and repositioning of real estate. Mr. Chun will teach basic financing concepts, valuation methods of commercial real estate, and difference between debt and equity financing.
This workshop will benefit individuals who are just beginning their careers in commercial real estate and individuals that are unfamiliar with commercial real estate financing. Immediately following the presentation, a panel of real estate professionals will discuss their roles in the finance structure.

Chris Grey, Managing Director Emigrant Realty Finance- Emigrant provides senior or subordinate, secured or unsecured, financing for all real estate asset types, both existing and new construction, and real estate operating companies. Since 2005 Emigrant has booked over $2.2 billion of investments with a target of $1.7 billion for 2007.

Rob Butchenhart, Vice President Lehman Brothers- Lehman Brothers' Global Real Estate Group provides advisory and lending services to commercial real estate owners, investors and developers in the US, Europe and Asia. Lehman provides a variety of services to real estate owners, investors and developers, including: Real Estate Investment Banking, Commercial Mortgage Lending and Equity, Lines of Credit, Securitization and Syndication Services.

Peter Hillakas, Vice President Newmark Realty Capital - Newmark Realty Capital, Inc. is a full service mortgage banking firm with a strong lineup of correspondent lenders, utilizing Newmark's production, closing and servicing capabilities. Parking:
Valet parking is $4.50 per car in the parking garage. There is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
