Elysian Valley – Marsh Street Park Marsh Street is the newest Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy / Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority LA River mini-park, with its initial phase opening April 2006. The first phase is about 1 acre (of a planned 5-acre park) and features native landscaping, children's play area and access to one of the nicest stretches of scenic soft bottom river. Directions
Bike: Located just downstream of the 2 Freeway on the unofficial bike path (actually an old access road - careful - some uneven surfaces!) just downstream from the end of the Glendale Narrows LA River Bike Path. ParkingLimited street parking on Marsh Street. Additional Parking is adjacent to the park at Janel Glass Factory.
