YLG Case Study: The Figueroa Corridor: Case Study of a District's Reemergence
|
|
The Figueroa Corridor, which is an area at the forefront of urban revitalization, is building upon greater Downtown's architectural and cultural history. Using the University of Southern California as its anchor, both public and private investments are revitalizing the area with development of upscale multifamily housing, cultural centers, and historic preservation projects. The case study will examine the intersection of the old with the new, and the driving forces behind the reemergence of one of downtown LA's hidden treasures.
