NoHo Arts District: from Art House to Penthouse – How the Confluence of Artists, Government, Private Developers and a Strategic Vision are Turning Around North Hollywood

NoHo Arts District
NoHo Arts District

The once blighted community of North Hollywood is experiencing a renaissance of development with J.H. Snyder's NoHo Commons and JSM Construction's NoHo Towers projects leading the way. This construction boom comes after over thirty years of effort by community members and local government to turn this area into a lively, mixed-use neighborhood that will service and reflect the character of its residents and users. The program will bring together developers, the Los Angeles CRA and members of key community groups to discuss how a cohesive vision, Arts District branding, and grass-root efforts have contributed to the latest wave of private investment and development. Together, these efforts are turning North Hollywood into one of the Valley’s hippest, most vibrant neighborhoods.
