Leadership Forum with James A. Thomas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Properties Group, LLC.July 17, 2003The ULI Leadership Forum is an opportunity to interact with a leader of national stature who has made asignificant contribution to our community. For more than 30 years Jim Thomas has been a guiding force in Los Angeles, shaping the direction of our city through his commercial developments as well as the commitment of his time and talents to a host of cultural and civic projects. He founded Thomas Properties Group in 1996 after more than 25 years as managing partner of Maguire Thomas Partners where he played a critical role in the development of Wells Fargo Center, Library Tower and Gas Company Tower. In just six years Thomas Properties Group has become a leading national real estate company with a portfolio of more than eight million square feet of commercial real estate, six million square feet of development in the pipeline and is currently in the spotlight as the new owners of the landmark Arco Plaza. Jim is the co-chair of the Grand Avenue Committee making significant changes to the pedestrian experience in downtown.
